Word 2013 doesn't show unicode text in find/replace window, shows black boxes.

I have Word 2013/ 365 on w7 pc.
It doesn't show unicode text (hindi - devanagari) in find/ replace windows (ctrl-H, ctrl-F), shows black boxes instead, one each for each character.
though it replace the same text correctly.
Unicode text is correctly visible in the full file.

how to resolve it? All work held up. :-(

Does it only happen for Word 2013 / Office 365, or other previous office applications. Did you try installing Asian languages to your OS?

All previous office versions were rendering correctly. Even now, I have 2010 also installed side by side and that is working correctly.

This problem has come only in 2013/365 Word.

2013/365 Excel is showing it correctly.
