Macros to send automatic E-mail remainder prior to an end date.

Hi all,

Pls help me to construct a macro in excel which does the following,

Requirement is to send automatic remainder E-mail, 15 days prior to the end date in excel sheet. This mail to be sent without opening the workbook.. Pls help me to wirte macro as Iam very new to this.

So if I understand correctly, you want a closed workbook to start code to check date in sheet an send email ?
I've seen some pretty weird stuff being done with XL-files, but this sure isn't one of them.
I guess that if this is what you're trying to achieve, you will have to rethink you're strategy.
