    Vlookup & If

I need returning full country name from first sheet(Country Information). This should be done by one formula consisting of IF and Vlookup functions in Cell C2, once I drag the cell full country name supposed to be listed as on the left side.

    Hi,

    In C2 and copied down,

    =IF(B2="",LOOKUP("zzzzzz",$C$1:C1),INDEX('Country information'!$B$2:$B$4,MATCH(B2,'Country information'!$A$2:$A$4,0)))
    Cheers !

Vlookup has a wide use as we want to check the same numbers from one Ms Excel sheet to another sheet. Single task takes a lot of time by using vlookup we are able to find such numbers in a few minutes.
