Sum values based on multiple criteria

Hi,

I have a datasheet with 4 columns on which I need to work on. I have also attached the excel sheet for reference. What I would liek to do is based on the Sales Person I need to filter the products and sum the profit based on sales person. I tried the SUMIFS function but somehow nto able to acheive what I want. Please help ASAP.

Welcome to ExcelFox !!

do the following

1. Select Product range, copy and paste in I1
2. Select SalesPerson range, copy and paste in J1

Select I1:J25, goto Data > Remove Duplicates

In K2 and copied down,

=SUMIFS($B$2:$B$25,$A$2:$A$25,I2,$D$2:$D$25,J2)
